You’ve got the weight of an entire nation resting on your shoulders, not to mention a ton of lost cargo that needs to be returned to its rightful owner. That’s a big burden, to say nothing of the rough terrain and supernatural enemies you’ll encounter along the way. As much as I like the game, I can agree with some of the criticism. The game gets really repetitive, since gameplay rarely changes and there wasn’t enough focus put on non-walking parts of the gameplay. I only just finished Episode 3 at the moment, but I believe that the game would have been better if it took a more linear approach.
